Frequently Asked Questions About KIN

Answers to common questions before making a decision

How is KIN different from a retirement home?
KIN is a Medical Rehabilitation Center, not a retirement home. We have specialists in rehabilitation medicine and neurology who design personalized rehabilitation programs, combined with technologies such as Hydrotherapy, TMS, and HBOT. The goal is to help patients truly recover, not merely to provide accommodation
How long does Stroke rehabilitation take?
The “golden period” is the first 6 months after a Stroke, when the brain has the highest neuroplasticity. KIN recommends starting rehabilitation as soon as the patient’s condition is stable. Most patients show clear improvement within 30–90 days
What is the starting overall cost?
Monthly care starts at 25,000 baht · 15-day care stay: 18,000 baht · Weekly Stroke rehabilitation: 19,999 baht · Complete Stroke program starting at 71,000 baht · 7-day trial stay: 9,999 baht. All packages include meals, physical therapy, and 24-hour nursing care
Are doctors really available to care for patients every day?
Yes. KIN has specialist doctors who assess patients at every branch, with doctors on call 24 hours a day. The multidisciplinary team reviews patient cases every week
Can we try a stay before making a decision?
KIN offers a 7-day trial stay at 9,999 baht, including accommodation, 3 meals per day, daily physical therapy, occupational therapy, and 24-hour nursing care. It is ideal for families who are still unsure and want to see results before making a decision
What is Hydrotherapy and who is it suitable for?
Hydrotherapy is rehabilitation in temperature-controlled water. The buoyancy of water helps reduce pressure on joints and muscles, allowing patients to practice walking and exercise with less pain. It is suitable for Stroke patients, people with knee pain, and post-operative patients
