Kin Rehabilitation and Home Care Receives a National Gold Award at the Universal Design Standards Award for Healthcare Facilities 2025

Kin Rehabilitation and Home Care received the National Gold Award at the Universal Design Standards Award for Healthcare Facilities 2025 organised by the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth) in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University. Dr Thongchai Chokthanomsap, Executive Chairman, attended the ceremony to receive the award.

This competition focused on the concept of “Design for Everyone” (Universal Design), an approach that Kin has continuously upheld and developed. We believe that good care begins with good design. An elderly care centre should be a space that everyone can access equally, safely, and practically, whether they are older adults, people with disabilities, or members of the general public.

Over the years, the Kin team has devoted care and attention to every detail in developing elderly care and health-rehabilitation centres to the highest standards. This includes service quality, functional spaces, and environments that support a better quality of life. Every element is designed with understanding and a genuine commitment to care.

This award is further evidence of Kin’s commitment to elevating elderly-care standards in Thailand. Our approach extends beyond physical design to creating the warm and safe feeling of a “second home” that supports long-term quality of life.

The award ceremony was held on 18 June 2025 at IMPACT Forum, Muang Thong Thani, with experts and social-design partners attending as witnesses to this achievement.
