“What would you do if one day you could no longer get out of bed?”
It is a question no one wants to face in real life, but for Charoenwit, it happened without warning.
Charoenwit is one of the stroke patients who experienced a sudden and life-changing decline. From living independently, he became bedridden almost instantly, with weakness on the right side of his body, an inability to communicate verbally, dependence on tube feeding, and continuous use of a urinary catheter.
This situation affected not only the patient, but also the entire family, who had to adjust without preparation. After he passed through the critical phase, the family decided to bring Charoenwit to KIN Origin Rehab Center a specialist rehabilitation center focused on holistic care.
A team of specialist physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation professionals from multiple disciplines worked together to create a comprehensive plan. It began with a detailed physical assessment and an individualized rehabilitation program covering movement, communication, swallowing, and emotional support for both the patient and family.
This is the beginning of a journey…
a journey with the hope of helping Charoenwit “return to life” as he once knew it.
Follow the rehabilitation process in the next episode.
