SMDX KIN-ORIGIN SLEEP TEST UNIT Advances to International Standards as the First Comprehensive Sleep Test Centre of Its Kind in Asia-Pacific

An Important Step Towards Global Standards

On 25 December 2024 , the SMDX KIN-ORIGIN Sleep Test Unit had the honour of welcoming a survey team from American Accreditation Commission International (AACI America) to visit and review the centre’s service processes as part of an international healthcare-standard accreditation assessment.

Following this survey, SMDX KIN-ORIGIN Sleep Test Unit officially received accreditation from AACI (Accreditation Association for Centers of Sleep Investigation) and became the first independent sleep test unit in Asia-Pacific to receive international recognition. This accreditation confirms the quality and safety of the centre’s services and reflects its commitment to becoming a regional leader in sleep testing.

Building Sustainable Standards Through Collaboration Between Leading Organisations

SMDX KIN-ORIGIN Sleep Test Unit was established through collaboration between Kin-Origin Hospital and SMDX Co., Ltd. a company within Saintmed Public Company Limited with the securities code SMD100 one of Thailand’s leading medical-equipment service providers. The collaboration aims to improve quality of life through better sleep.
