Executives from KIN Rehabilitation and Home Care and KIN Origin Health Care Hold Collaboration Meeting with Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM)

On 8 January 2024, executives from KIN Rehabilitation and Home Care and KIN Origin Health Care led by Mr Thongchai Chokthanomsap (Executive Chairman), joined a discussion with Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) to introduce the group’s businesses and explore collaboration in developing elderly-care services and medical rehabilitation. The meeting represented an important step for Thailand’s healthcare industry.

Visit and Discussion to Strengthen Collaboration

The meeting aimed to build collaboration between KIN Rehabilitation and Home Care, KIN Origin Health Care, and PIM, one of Thailand’s leading educational institutions. The discussion was honoured by the participation of Associate Professor Dr Somphob Manarangsan (President), and Mr Siam Choksawangwong (Senior Vice President for Administration).

During the meeting, executives from both sides exchanged perspectives and visions on healthcare-business development, particularly rehabilitation and elderly-care services, which are increasingly needed in Thai society.

Focusing on Comprehensive Services That Benefit Society

KIN Rehabilitation and Home Care and KIN Origin Health Care are committed to improving the quality of life of people in Thailand, particularly older adults, through holistic healthcare services ranging from home patient care and medical rehabilitation to building community knowledge and understanding of health management.

The meeting also provided an important opportunity to introduce new ideas and innovations in healthcare services. PIM executives offered support and guidance to help develop services that genuinely respond to the needs of service users.

Visit to PIM’s Practical Training Facilities

During the meeting, the KIN team also had the opportunity to visit practical training areas within PIM, which bring together technology and innovation for learning, including:

  1. Robotics Training Centre
The centre displays and demonstrates robotic technologies that may be applied in the healthcare industry, such as nursing-assistance robots.

  2. Food Business Laboratory
Good health begins with appropriate nutrition. This laboratory presents approaches to nutrition management, which plays an important role in health rehabilitation.

  3. Aviation Business Training Centre
Although the centre focuses on aviation-industry training, the care and service skills developed there may also be extended to healthcare services.

The visit gave the KIN team inspiration and new ideas for applying technology and innovation across the group’s businesses.

Progressive Collaboration for a Better Future

KIN Rehabilitation and Home Care and KIN Origin Health Care demonstrated their commitment to working with educational and industry partners to develop comprehensive services that respond to changing population needs, particularly as Thailand moves fully into an ageing society.

Through collaboration with PIM, an institution experienced in management and work-based education, KIN expects to apply the knowledge and innovations gained to improve service efficiency and create broader benefits for society.

The collaboration between KIN Rehabilitation and Home Care, KIN Origin Health Care, and Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) represents another important step in developing KIN’s businesses and services. The partners share a goal of improving the quality of life of older adults in Thailand through technology, training, and services aligned with international standards.

KIN is proud to work with forward-looking partners and is ready to continue advancing the health and well-being of people across Thailand.
