Here is an interview sharing the experience of a patient who stayed for postoperative rehabilitation
for two months.

Q: How did you learn about “KIN”?
A: It began when we wanted our relative to receive physical therapy. We visited several places, while my daughter also searched online. However, the facilities we visited did not provide the kind of environment we were looking for. We had never heard of “KIN” before and also discovered it through an online search. When we came to see the center, it felt spacious and comfortable. Most importantly, we met a nurse named Ms. Duang, who explained the services and activities available. We felt that the center maintained a higher standard than the other places we had visited, which gave us confidence. After returning home and discussing it, we brought the rest of the family to see the center. In the end, we chose KIN.


Q: How did you feel after receiving care at “KIN”?
A: My father received excellent care. The nurses looked after him very well, the physical therapists were friendly, and the center’s staff were also approachable and welcoming. This made a very positive impression on us. We had previously visited other physical therapy facilities, but they did not feel right, so we returned here. My father was already able to do some things independently, but staying here helped him become more confident. The way the staff interacted with him also impressed us greatly. “Coming here feels like receiving complete care. Whenever something is needed, the team arranges it. The meals are good, physical therapy is provided every day, and we can also select a physical therapist. I have to admit that the physical therapy here is excellent—truly very good.” Most importantly, we met one of the partners, Mr. Thongchai, and we now feel like friends. We can exchange ideas and ask for help whenever we are unsure about something. It feels like being part of a family. Whenever we raise an issue, the team handles it. “There is nothing they refuse to help with. We have never been turned away by this center.”


Q: What are the main strengths of “KIN”?
A: “Physical therapy” is definitely the center’s outstanding strength. We received care from a highly skilled physical therapist who was also able to build a strong connection with the patient. The therapist genuinely supported the patient’s progress. After staying here, my father became able to walk up the stairs. The nursing department also has nurses on duty who provide helpful consultations. “I have to say that the response is extremely prompt.” Whenever something occurs or we inform the team about an issue, they take action immediately. The center also creates a LINE group to report the patient’s daily activities. They send photographs every day, including updates about sleeping and eating. The LINE group is very useful because it makes communication easy and allows problems to be resolved quickly. This helps family members feel confident about leaving their loved one here. “We can entrust him to the center without anxiety or worry.” The facility is good, the cleanliness is excellent, and the staff are capable. Physical therapy is truly at the heart of this center and has helped our patient recover with greater confidence.


Q: What goals did you set?
A: Our patient is elderly but was normally able to manage most daily activities independently. However, events do not always go as expected. After an accident and a fall, he became afraid to walk and moved around much less. The center helped reduce that fear and rebuild his confidence. If expressed as a percentage, I would estimate that his confidence has improved by approximately 80–90%.


Q: How do you feel about “KIN” now?
A: Of course, I feel very positive. The team has cared for us, increased our confidence, reduced our fear, and helped the patient become more willing to walk again.
